I almost don’t believe what just happened. A few days ago I dropped off my Sprint card (internet) to be repaired. I told them not to worry about getting to it right away since they were busy, I would come back in a few days. Today when I got back from lunch I had a box with a new internet card on my desk. I was confused and thought they had made a mistake (didn’t want someone to get in trouble) so I called the store, that’s where it all went bad. I was connected with "Audrey" who liked to interrupt me while I was trying to explain the situation. I had no problem with the new card, but wanted to make sure I was supposed to get it and all that was in the box was the card, no USB cord like my old card. After the 4th or 5th time she interrupted me I finally said “excuse me but can you please stop interrupting me” her response to this was “You need to stop interrupting ME” I said “What?? I’m trying to explain to you the issue with the new card (it wasn’t the same type I dropped off)” at this point I’m getting angry. So Miss Audrey said “Are you done talking now?? Are you?? You need to SHUT YOUR MOUTH and let ME finish talking” I was speechless. It took me a few seconds to fully realize what she had just said to me. I had to ask her twice what her name was and 3 times to speak to the manager. Ok I think the 3rd time I yelled at her to connect me to the manager. I explained to the manager the issue with "Audrey" and she apologized and explained to me how it works when you drop off a phone or internet card. It was really a simple issue. And could have been explained in about 2 minutes.
I called the store directly, so it’s not like she was hiding behind an 800 number. Is this what we can expect from customer service? I was not angry when I called, I was more concerned with an employee getting in trouble for mistakenly sending me a new card. I am just shocked that someone would speak to another person that way. What happened to having respect for other people?
