    Sprint Store Employee

I almost don’t believe what just happened. A few days ago I dropped off my Sprint card (internet) to be repaired. I told them not to worry about getting to it right away since they were busy, I would come back in a few days. Today when I got back from lunch I had a box with a new internet card on my desk. I was confused and thought they had made a mistake (didn’t want someone to get in trouble) so I called the store, that’s where it all went bad. I was connected with "Audrey" who liked to interrupt me while I was trying to explain the situation. I had no problem with the new card, but wanted to make sure I was supposed to get it and all that was in the box was the card, no USB cord like my old card. After the 4th or 5th time she interrupted me I finally said “excuse me but can you please stop interrupting me” her response to this was “You need to stop interrupting ME” I said “What?? I’m trying to explain to you the issue with the new card (it wasn’t the same type I dropped off)” at this point I’m getting angry. So Miss Audrey said “Are you done talking now?? Are you?? You need to SHUT YOUR MOUTH and let ME finish talking” I was speechless. It took me a few seconds to fully realize what she had just said to me. I had to ask her twice what her name was and 3 times to speak to the manager. Ok I think the 3rd time I yelled at her to connect me to the manager. I explained to the manager the issue with "Audrey" and she apologized and explained to me how it works when you drop off a phone or internet card. It was really a simple issue. And could have been explained in about 2 minutes.

I called the store directly, so it’s not like she was hiding behind an 800 number. Is this what we can expect from customer service? I was not angry when I called, I was more concerned with an employee getting in trouble for mistakenly sending me a new card. I am just shocked that someone would speak to another person that way. What happened to having respect for other people?

You handled it very well, better than me. I have a major problem when people interrupt me. I would have to go to the store and talk to the mrg for sure. Hopefully I would chill before I got there. There is no such thing as customer service anymore.

Ive never had an issue with instore customer service. Ive had my feathers ruffled a couple of times on the phone at corp.

She was out of line and uncalled for. She would have had her job or at least wouldnt have wanted to keep her job when I was done.

I dont deal well with bad customer service. They are usually regretting every smarting off to begin with by the time im finished on my end.

You should send her some black roses to work.

If the manager didn't have anything more to say to her, I'd include them in the formal complaint.

It's a sad day when ANYONE in a professional environment speaks to another person like that.

I was shocked and I thought "did she really just say that??" I was not being a "you know what" when I called, I was afraid that they had made a mistake. People don't normally speak to one another like that, especially someone they don't know. I was very calm and polite when I asked her to please stop interrupting. I could tell that she was young so I figured that maybe she didnt realize that she was doing it.
