Anyone heard of arrow speed interfering with a drop down rest?

There's only a couple of rests that can't fail, several that rarely fail, and quite a few more that fail a little more frequently. Naturally, the rests with the most parts are more prone to failure.
Total vane clearance is more elusive than the current pool of bowhunters realizes.
