Thanks Tracy! I just noticed the "Classic" was moved. My comment was out of order! I apologize for that!

Wow.....I would never have thought having one of the best all-around archery ranges in the country in our backyard would be talked about like this. Y'all should be thankful that someone like Joe has the vision and determination to build one of the greatest archery facilities around so all archers can better their skills regardless of skill level. I think its time that we turn these posts in the right direction and start bringing our families to a place where a family of 3 can spend a whole day for $60.00. You can't even play a round of golf for that. So let's realize what we have here and stop the trash talk.

I don't care about the range or the shoots. They do processing right and at a fair price. That's enough for me.
I hope they understand though what they are getting for a tech. As stated before, there's none better with bows. But he lost a sale of a Mathews because of his approach. Or lack of one so to speak. It's not rocket science and if I still had the third bedroom for a reloading and archery work room I would hardly ever go to a shop. Where I do go the tech has proven to be more than adequate and has made me feel welcome. It may not be about "feelings" according to some of you tough guys on here but all other things being equal I'd rather do business where I feel welcome. Just like I'd rather eat in a place where the waitress not only serves my food but can smile and chat a bit too rather than in a 5 star place with an unfriendly server.

I am a long long ways from there, but look forward to stopping in when I am down that way.
I think it's a good thing for somebody to "build up" to such a big place. But there will be guys that love it and guys that hate it, and that is completely ok.
I have friends that love Gander Mountain. I wouldn't go in that rat hole if they were PAYING ME to take stuff. But my personal boycott doesn't effect their business at all.
So it's fine if some of the TBH'ers don't/won't shop at CCR's. There will be plenty that do.
Good luck to them in their new transitions, and good luck to the guys that have a trustworthy shop elsewhere!

Here is the answer, IN THE VERY NEXT POST:
The Dealership will not transfer , We have somethings in the works and will keep everyone posted as soon as we know more . Tracy
Now as far as what happens to Smithfields dealership.....are you asking the question to anyone that is qualified to answer a question about Smithfields dealership??? I think the answer is very clearly no.

I got your back Glenn!!!In my opinion, I'm not sure how many on here are the hard core, week in week out competition shooters. Most here are not hearing what is being said at the clubs and other shops. If I'm not mistaken, all the clubs get together either at the end of the year or beginning of the year to plan schedules so there are no conflicts with each other. To the archery world that I'm involved in, it does look like CCR is trying to take out at least 1 club in particular. Seems like an awful lot of CCR shoots are on the same dates as Cowtown shoots. Right here on this site in the 3-D section, someone asked about Thursday night shoots at Cowtown. Before an answer could be given, CCR was advertising a Thursday night shoot. It's is hard to believe most of this is just accidental. I don't blame all of ya'll for defending something or someone you believe in, but we are just trying to defend the clubs and shops that have been around for years and years. But hey, they've got free food!

I can guarantee you that CCR is not trying to take out anyone. The Thursday night shoot was at the request of CCR members and if you cared to look at Cowtown's webs site they don't have a Thursday event. The only ones that seem to be attacking anyone are you and Glenn. This thread was about a news release on a new bow shop manager but is seems you and a few folks have another agenda...
