how big is this Axis?

Here is a pic of a Axis out at the ranch. I know that his is a gold medal Axis, but how big do you think he is? This is the biggest one that we have seen out there and we have killed on that was 34".

I would say easy 35" plus

I have no idea, but big enough I would hve a real hard time passing. Looks so wide and tall he can't hold his head straight.

I would guess around 35' However he is so wide. I dunno maybe 38' on the max.

Very nice axis - I would put him right around 33-34" - If he 'rocks back' significantly, he might pick up some length. The wide ones tend to look a little bigger - good cottles, a bit weak on the brows, but shooter for sure.
