Try ESNEAD on this sight. I just took the last dog of his last litter but he may have plans for more in the future. If not he can help you, he turned me onto a guy with 2 older dogs on this sight.

I dont breed Lacys anymore, but Andy Garcia has two pups out of two hog dogs. One is the sister to my Dig dog which I use for wounded deer, and the male is out of Jimmy Brooks line. Should make some good dogs. Andy - 361-460-0578

Sandy Harrell in crosbyton. She's got some good dogs. I think it's H-S kennels. She's on the TLGDA website too. She's not that far from you either.

I got mine from Bob Lacy out of Watervalley; Tx. He just had a litter. I couldn't be happier with my dog. I will send you his e-mail in a pm.

Sandy Harrell, D-S Texas Lacy Dogs, Crosbytown, TX. She is one of the best and I think she actually has pups available, but not quite old enough to let go.

I won't suggest for or against any breeder but I will suggest that you do your homework and only consider a pup whose parents excel at the discipline which you intend the pup to perform.

Not just taking the breeders word for it, make them prove it. Request pictures, not just one, two or more years worth, enough to justify a proven track record. Also ask for references of both puppy buyers AND tracking clients.

The Lacy has become a novelty breed (which may or may not be part of your reason for wanting one) and you wouldn't believe how many people throw any two unrelated dogs together, their only objective being a litter of registered blue pups.

That's not to say that you cant get a good tracking dog (or what ever discipline) out of two pets. You simply have better odds with a puppy whose parents are both proven to express your desired traits.

                              Steve
