Well fellas I have tried several of the places mentioned, Kinkaids, Hurds, and Nickys at Crowley.
But # 1 goes to the Hot Skillett between Alvord and Bowie. You LBJ fellas need to stop in there and give it a try.

Dairy Barn in Crowell, TX is hard to beat. Had Kincaids in Cowtown today. I'd rate them about equal.

The best burger I ever ate was on Lake Fork at Smitty's. Great burger.
                  Storm's also makes good burgers.

There was a place down in Pleasanton that had some really good ones. Tore it down and put up a drive-thru beer barn.

Incidentally, the building that housed the hamburger place was originally a drive-thru/pick-up chicken place (The Chicken Coop). If you've seen "Sugarland Express", with Ben Johnson and Goldie Hawn, that chicken place is where the two fugitives are eating as the two TX Ranger snipers are making plans to shoot them.
