The square toe is acually a throw back to the original cowboy boot which was derived from the calvary boot after the war between the states. But I still don't like 'em

Stick to the classic, that's why they call it classic. Get a pair of Lucchese you cant go wrong. Go custom if you have someone nearby to make them. They will feel the best, like your wearing slippers, you only get one pair of feet. Fades come and go be a man and choose for your **** self

i like em both, square for just everyday stuff, but wear round toe or durashocks for work. i have a wide foot along with the dreaded bunion on my left, squares are more comfortable for me to just wear all day, personally i like the double h boots cause they are work or play

The ones I have now, the top half is pink but I love my Ariats, they're the best boots I've owned and I really like the square toe. My son also has a pair of square toe Ariats.
You and my wife would have something to talk about. She likes her ropers but we were In Cavenders in FW last weekend to get me some new work boots and she looked at the womens boots and couldn't find anything that wasn't cheap built or garishly girly. Every thing and the staff catered to the men. Worked out ok for me but she wasn't happy. I had to take her out to eat to make things all better, as if I were to blame just cause I'm a guy. I'll never understand women. Sheesh.

Square toes make it tougher to climb fences when you are running from the cops. just thought I would point that out. The roach killers are best for that.

I thought square toes were for field goal kickers and circus clowns.....

I have both square w/ riding heel and roundtoe. Both are Ariats and really comfortable. The sqares are my dress boots and the rounds are work. My best pair of work boots are Redwing Pecos slip-ons.

I'd say go square w/ the full quill ostrich, they'd look sweet.

Anyone know the name of that place, I think I heard about it on ABC13 last week.
I think it was Junk Town in the Montrose.
