    I agree. I have done the math several times and you will never save enough on fuel to make up for the cost of trading or buying another vehicle.

      I went from a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix to a 2007 Chevy 1/2 ton and NO I didn't take advantage of our president taking advantage of everyone else on this Cash for clunkers!

          i sold my wifes hybrid for 5000. more than what i paid for it and bought her a real nice tahoe since they were cheaper we had just moved to town so fuel milage didn't make a difference.

            I bought a Civic for work and I drive it like I stole it and it gets 38 mpg. I love it.
