The Brizendines are great folks and very close personal friends of mine, i guarentee that if you confront Darell or Becky with your issue you will get an answer.

Very nice people for sure. With that being said I will not take anything to them for the exact reason this thread was started. I killed 2 axis deer in 07. Took them 2 complete deer including both sets of tenderloins and inner tenderloins.. I got one grocery paper bag full of meat. I loaded it in the truck, turned around to get the rest of the bags and that was it. he said it was all there. Cost me over $200 bucks for a single bag of meat. I was told by a friend who knows them that the MRs's Really like Axis meat, so I am sure they ate for awhile on my deer. I was ******.

Have know Becky and Darrell for alot of years just give them a call if you feel u were cheated sure they would love to talk to u. Don't have to slam on this or any suite that is if your a man your have your wife call for u.

and the reason you don't get bad service from them is because you know them.......this isn't the first time I have heard of this type of problems from this meat processor and I have been hearing it for several years from different people who don't know each other.......So reality is no matter how nice they are something is going on and they are not giving all the meat back to their customers..............

And whackmaster, Krivoman did confront him about the issue and the owner told him that was all the meat he was getting.........so I think they are shady people when it comes to one time customers, based on what I have read on here and heard from others over the last several years.........

Don't sweat it. You are always going to have very close friend that will defend these kind of folks. I was just asking if anyone else felt the same way I did. No need to start a TBH war about processors. I just will not use them again and they will not see any more of my money, plain an simple. Sorry if I offended those folks that are " CLOSE FRIENDS " with these people.

I did not start this thread. Nor did I post anything on here about the problem, when I had it 2 summers ago. Just so you know, I was an active member then as well. But the guy asked a question for the exact reason why I gave it. We were both cheated out of meat. Plan and simple.

As Will mentioned, if he is your friend, of course you are not going to have an issue. But I have been killing deer long enough to know how much meat to expect. My guess is that they ate good on one of my axis's for about 2 months..

But don't come on here with your little stubby antlers and try to call me out for not being a man. Would you thought better of me if I would have drug your buddy all over his dirt driveway while his wife nibbled on Axis Jerky? Believe me, I thought about it.

As for your post, I needed a dang decoder ring to read your post!

If I eat some place that sucks, and a friend asks my opinion, I will tell my friend what I thought of the place. That is what I did on this thread.

You might try Mike's Barnyard in Liberty Hill.

I've never used them but I won't eat there anymore. Gotten food poisoning twice...but then again most places to eat in LH scare me except Dahlia Cafe they have an awesome chicken fried steak and bread puddin

I've never used Brizendine's but I've heard the same thing about them from several people and my ex. he took 1 deer and got back much less than expected but gave them another try and the same thing happend. He said he asked the guy about it and he blew it off like it wasnt a big deal. My neighbor swears by them though.
