      Doesn't change my point that a sharp projectile point with good shot placement will put meat on the table.

        I completely agree.
        And I didn't like venison so much I might try it with one.
        But my shot placement isn't always perfect.

          my total arrow weight for my main recurve set up is 503 grains in total weight....your fine....

            I am using 100 grain brass insert and 125 grain broadheads. They fly good so that’s what I am using.

              570 total gr. Wood arrow with a two blade zwiggy will take a wilderbeast at 17 yds thru a 47 # selfbow. Don’t confuse things . Roberts right. Arvin

                I’ve seen hogs taken with stone points that were right at 145 grain. Complete pass through on both hogs.
