Great write up. Just what I need to keep me working on getting to hunting ready.

Good looking bow and you seem to use it well. Being an old Bear collector, I seldom look at modern bows. It was just this week that I noticed the limbs are on the "wrong" side on the Widows. Now I am curious about the attachment system. Is it the same as a front mounted limb?

Pretty much. A single pin and bolt.

SwampRabbit, that is really a beautiful bow. I really like the green coloring in it and the quiver. Reminds me of the vintage Bear bows. I look at those "Old School" Great Northern Bows and am tempted to get one but there are so many good bowyers here in TX.

Nice to see someone bond with their bow.
              Loved the story!
