Pheasant: arrow help

I suggest using broadheads if possible. I went on those hunts with Bisch, and I saw birds with field points through them take the arrow and run over the horizon. I used the tip of a Thunderhead (no blades) and put a turkey collar / small game add on behind that.

They are hard to kill with a bird point.
I shot one with a 700 grain arrowfrom a 74 pound bow that was setting on a fence post.
feathers went everywhere
as far as I know that bird is still running as I never caught up with it
