Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow for me. I also shoot a Sarrels Bobbcatt recurve but the longbow is my go-to bow. Selfbowman makes a pretty darn good selfbow too.
Shoot some bows of buddies and pick your poison. I love them both and have both bows made by several bowyers. Long bows are quieter and I hunt with one out of tree stand frequently. When I go to ground blinds I carry a recurve.
