I was there right after Wyatt shot his, the story went that he caught them in rut and a couple were fighting and that allowed him to get up on them.

A very nice accomplishment, however it was done.

doug B at work is the only one i know of. he shot his a long time ago with a longbow. king ranch but back then that was the only area that had them. well except for india..LOL

I shot a juvenile bull about 17 years ago on the Kennedy ranch on an invite hunt. He was shot with a 68# Big River longbow, cedar arrow tipped with a 165 gr. Grizzly broadhead. I had no clue of the accomplishment I had made but the folks at the Kennedy said they had never had one killed with a stick and a string at that time.

Their shoulder structure is just like African game. Perfect shot placement is farther forward than a whitetail. One of the hunters before my hunt double lunged one and he still ran 400 yards. Tough, tough animal.

Awesome. I'm gonna see how laguna goes but if it's as tough as I hear we will probably get us a group together for the king.
