thanks for all the nice ideas yall gave me!

I thin ill go with red and black! i really like that combination!
red for the front 2/3 of the feather and black for the back 1/3.. should look very sharp with 4" parabolic..

Well now the only question is how to splice feathers. anyone some good advice for me, cause i have never done it before..

    Thanks
    Daniel

Make all 3 the same color, make them bright. Watching your arrow fly towards the target helps your sub consous learn what the shot looks like.

From shooting field archery many years ago, I found white is hard to see in flight, Green is good if it is not dark green, orange with orange floresent nocks are by far the best I have found to see where they are hitting....Red is tough to see in the shade....

            Daniel,

PM Bountyhunter. He's the splicing expert (among other things), but he's probably out-of-pocket for the weekend at the Longbow Championship.

He may already have done a video how-to on splicing on here if you do a search. He's done several how-to videos. Want to make a broadhead out of a spoon?

Here is a decent picture tutorial:

Traditional archery supplies, hunting supplies, target archery, archery supplies, compound archery

              All the best,

It's actually a lot easier than you would think, given the right tools. A good brush, paint thinned correctly, and a good design chuck on a spinning motor does a great job.

Here was my very first cresting machine, made from some wood scraps I had laying around, an old sewing machine motor, and a Dremel tool foot pedal to control the speed. The only part that I bought was the chuck - I think I got that from 3Rivers. I used this machine for years before buying a "real" one, and to tell the truth, this one worked just as good!

Yep, google Bountyhunter Traditional Arrows. He may have a how-to vid posted there.
