Well, I left the Hill Country Shootout in Vanderpool to go to my lease for a shot at a turkey and, as usual, I could not get a turkey. I did manage to remove a nice little 90# eater sow from the gene pool though.

No turkeys but few pigs showed right at dark. Got this little #70 er. waited for a 2 fer but they wouldn't cooperate so I shot this one at 7 yds.
Missed the heart but cut the arteries off the top side and got some lungs. 25 yds and it was down. Best hog blood trail I have ever had. SilverFlame XL 150's did the trick. Along with 52# of carbon/wood recurve limbs.
