What Fletching Glue Do You Use?

    Good morning,

I just got off work and I fletching up some arrows. While the first batch is drying I thought I would ask y'all, what glue do you use for your feathers? I have used several different brands over the years and was just curious which one you use.

As long as I'm inquiring about arrow making, what type of jig do you use? Thanks...

Fletch tite, but the last time I used it the glue turned a brown color after a couple of months. Never seen that happen before. Thinking about trying something different.

I use a lw wing jojan. For glue I go to the dollar store and buy the super glue multi packs. You get like three tiny bottles for a dollar.

I use Super glue gel. Works well and have not had any issues with feathers or fletchings coming off. I use the Blitz jig with a right heli.

I use goat tuff. Ive tried most of the other brands and it is the best IMO. I haven't tried just regular old super glue though. That would save a lot of money if it works.

I use the fletching tape and then a dab of standard bohning glue at both ends of the feather. It is fast, clean and from what I've seen lasts as long as any other glue out there. No wait between feathers and I can fletch as many arrows with my single jig as someone with a multi jig in the same amount of time or less.

Oh and it works on all arrow shaft materials.

Fletch tite platinum for carbons and aluminum. Duco for wood.

I use a JoJan jig. 6 arrows at a time. A dozen every two hours!

I've got 4 Bitz. set up with RH helical and use AAE glue, fast as you can go. I wish I knew the secret to the fletching tape, tried that once and that was enough time wasting for me. I know Bisch, you gotta be smarter than the product!LOL

When I fletch carbon and aluminum (which is rare) I use Bohning Platnium Plus but I usually only use wooden arrows so mostly I use Duco.

I have 6 Bitzenburgers set up to duplicate with a right helical.
