Thanks, I checked them this morning and they are dry, tight and spin perfect. I want to weigh them this evening but I'm pretty sure the will be in the 430-450 range to give me close to 10 grains per pound. They also look pretty good and the flex epoxy I used flowed really nice and gave me great coverage on the sinew. Was going to use pine pitch but don't know what I did with mine. It doesn't come out as pretty with pine pitch, but it is a authentic and once hard pine pitch is as tough as any epoxy.Originally posted by Ron Meloni View PostComment

Here are a couple links to some I posted last year. I hafted the points onto pieces of heavy dowel for the "inserts" which slide nicely into the river cane shafts.
I haven't shot anything with any of them yet but will at some point.Comment

I have two shafts with stone points a guy made for me several years ago and he said "Go hunt with them" but they are so cool looking I leave them up on the wall to look at. Maybe I will hunt with them someday.Comment
