Ha! Took a break from my endless legal work and found these pics. Aside from the goofball on the far right in the first pic, the rest of the folks were some mighty good people. Had a blast and learned a lot - again! Was really great meeting and shooting with you, Dusty and Scott! And the course was fantastic - a great mix of fun shots in the woods, out in the open, short, long - really well thought out. Oh, and this time I miraculously didn't lose or break any arrows!

Here's hoping that Scott did well in his next go 'round shooting woods. Thanks again to Dusty for loaning me the book.

Thanks Equin! I actually gained about 40+ points with the woodies over the carbons. Maybe I'm just not a morning shooter....yeah that's it. -Scott

Equin, it was great to meet and shoot with you. You are not goofy and you are definitely a better shooter than you let on here at TBH.

Scott, glad you finally joined up and quit lurking as a stealth TBHer.

Jeffro, where were you and Neetz today? Are y'all coming out tomorrow?

The Denton County TBoT was a HUGE success. It is officially by far the largest turnout ever for a TBoT shoot outside of Vanderpool.

There were a total of 161 cards turned in for score. There were many cards not turned in and many more entered only as fun-rounds that are not recorded.

There were also A LOT of new faces there this weekend. This silly Trad sport of ours seems to be attracting a lot of new people (including a lot of new women). I predict it is a harbinger of growth and things to come for the rest of the shoots this year as well.

More pictures and potentially formatted scores to follow:

I can leave this tidbit with you. The "old codger" MKCharlie beat out this 59 years young whipper snapper by taking second in Seniors.

DCA thanks all the folks who came out for the shoot.
For those of you that missed it, the next TBoT shoot in the schedule is Holliday Creek on March 12-13.

Incredibly well done course and organization this year. The creek-bed was especially challenging due to the realistic debris between the stake and the target. Coming up the hill into the open and the wind was even more difficult, but you had to know you were in a real shoot. Out did yourselves Denton.
Thanks Dusty for not using the 50 point whining deduction on me.
