I never did put my dove from this year on here, so here you go

I wasn't planning on hunting due to having my galbladder and appendix taken out Friday before last. But I went to camp anyway figuring I would just hangout and cook for the guys. Well, everyone insisted I go hunting and that they would take care of whatever I shot, so I figured what the heck might as well go out and see whats showing up. Glad I did! I had several nice 3 1/2 year old 8's that will be good ones next year, and several does that looked surprising healthy in front of me at first light. Then this 10 shows up. As soon as I saw him I decided that if he gives me a good clear shot I'm taking him, and sure enough he walks right to some hand corn I put out at 12 yards. It was so quite saturday morning I was afraid he was going to hear my knees knocking from being cold, but he didn't. I got ready waiting for the deer to clear behind him and when they did I drew my Bob Sarrels Blueridge Sr back, picked a spot, and let it rip. The landshark did it's work and he went down in 75 yards. Thanks for making a great bow Bob, and many thanks to Grandpa and all the guys for helping clean, skin, quarter and cape him out. Couldn't/wouldn't have done with out them. He taped out at 131 5/8" gross.
