Guys and Gals - the bottom photo looks as if he is on his knees. This would cause his back to arch and not use proper back tension - his first photo looks quite good actually!

Good eye. That's the only way my wife could get the camera angle right! She's much shorter than I am, it took us a while to figure out that it was not going to work if we were on the same plane. That being said, I have noticed that I'm not really able to fully expand my chest/get my elbow inline with the arrow. Right now I'm anchoring the tip of my middle finger on my canine tooth and I'm able to find it consistently, however I have been trying other anchors iot find a good solution to the whole alignment issue. It seems that no matter what I try I can't get my elbow to cooperate and line up. Even when I anchor off my back molar the darn thing still pokes out to the right side of the shaft a bit and doing so changes the arrows alignment with my eye so to speak. When I anchor off my canine the arrow is directly under my dominant eye whereas the molar anchor brings the arrow inside my direct line of sight (arrow impacts right rather than where I'm looking). I have long arms, particularly long forearms I'm not sure how much my body composition is affecting this, probably not as much as I might like to think. Any tips y'all might have to get my elbow into position would be very appreciated.

i know exactly how you feel about the long arms. to keep my bow arm stiff i tend to lock my left elbow at almost 3/4 of the way fully extended. if i dont lock my elbow i over draw the bow, and end up w/ a nasty string slap. i just bought the exact same bow, 40# limbs, ive got a wide variety of arrows that i have shot from it this past week. this bow will shoot a 400 spined arrow but you'll need about 200-250 grains up front to get the spine right. i cant really give you good advice on how to aim, mainly because im blind in my left eye so my sight window looks completely different than most peoples. only really advice i can give you on correcting your poa vs poi is aim a little to the left of your intended target.

First pic looks good from that angle.

For the knee shot I set my butt down closer to my feet and bend forward at the waist to get the same angle as a standing shot. 2 cents.

If you like the way you are hitting, I wouldn't worry about it.

Honestly - As I look at the pictures more and more there really is nothing wrong - as you stated you really have long forearms and I agree this may be the cause of the misalignment. This being said - if you are shooting consistently then don't worry - everyone on here has some weird way of shooting that is dictated by our physical makeup.

If you were to draw and try to get your elbow tucked in you would have to draw past your head I think.

Well, my elbow isn't exactly inline now but I've moved my anchor point back to one of my molar teeth and it's definitely been an improvement. It's much easier to hold at full draw now that my back muscles are being engaged during the draw cycle. I'm getting pretty consistent at 10-15 yards but my groups start to spread out once I step back to 20-30. Still lots of fun, I've got another vid so yall can pick my form apart again if you feel so inclined.

Wow!! Anchor and release have really improved imo. You'll be ready.
