I, too had a great time at Chester this year. Great to see some old faces and meet some new ones. I also came home with one of Bob Sarrells new Blackhills "short" longbows and man... what a looker and shooter this is. I know early Saturday morning if I didn't buy it, it would be gone quick, so I pulled the trigger on it and love it. Many thanks to Bob and all of the sponsors, plus Bill Decker and his family for putting the Chester shoot together.

    Can't wait until next year.

What a great shoot. This was our first time to make it, but it won't be our last. Bill, it was great to meet you and thank you for all your hard work. The course was a lot of fun and the people were awesome. It is a little disheartning to carry a man from target to target over my shoulder, point him toward the target, hold him up so he doesn't fall over and watch him outshoot me all while inches away from meeting his maker.

          Sorry Gene I couldn't resist.

Kuddos to Bill and his team for putting on such a great shoot. They work hard and it shows. Good to see all you folks and I really appreciate all the business. Had my best year at Chester. Going to Abilene this next weekend (ain't gonna show, just play) and hope to see some of you there. It is a great course and needs to be supported by all us shooters to help it grow. Will be at State again and will be seeing a bunch of you there. "Longbows and short shots."
