    X-Mark Pro internally adjustable trigger.

I have the older version of the X-Mark trigger that's not externally adjustable. It's not terrible but I'd like to lighten it up some. Has anyone ever messed with one of these? I can't find much on how to adjust the trigger on the internet. Anything regarding this trigger has to do with the newer model with the external set screw to adjust the trigger weight.

Throw it in the trash and buy a timney or TT

I would but I gotta buy other guns and ammo.

This gun buying stuff is already expensive enough as it is. I can't be throwing stuff in the trash.

I kinda want to do it just so I know how. I've never adjusted a trigger before so I'd at least like to know how. I know me, if I just try it the gun won't even shoot at all after I'm done. I'm good at tearing stuff apart. Putting it back together......not so much.

All of the x mark triggers have the Allen wrench in the trigger shoe. My experience was that trigger adjustment did little to nothing.

If you are talking about a 3 screw Remington trigger there are quite a few videos online but a $100 timney sure is easy and breaks ultra clean.

I have the same trigger in one of my guns too. It’s going in the trash.

There’s a lot of triggers you can adjust some of the sh*ttiness out of them. The X Mark isn’t one of those triggers.

I could be mistaken but I thought the Remington 700 ADL made around 2007 had the first X-Mark in it that didn't have the set screw on the trigger. I could have sworn I read that somewhere. This one doesn't have an external set screw anywhere on the trigger.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm just dumb and that's not even the kind of trigger that's in my rifle. Dang it.

I could have sworn it did but I've had it a while so I could just be dreaming that up.

As suggested, toss it in the trash.
I jacked w 2 of them that were adjustable and never could get them below about 5 bs.
