Anyone ever bend or break a kinetic bullet puller?

I used pliers to pull 23 rounds.
Some bullets got damaged, but most are useable.

      I anneal, by hand, btw.
However, several of the loads I just pulled have not ever been annealed.
No color mark. They are likely older loadings.
      Starting fresh, now.

I've owned green ones and red ones and clear ones and they all broke. Most all broke the screw on cap off.
Only use a collet puller now and much easier.

I can anneal them through my machine if you need me to.

This is the length of my pilot.
It is a trimmed 223 pilot
            for the Lyman E-ZEE TRIM.
I'll take a little more off.

I guess I have been lucky, I still have the same one. The worst ones to pull are pistol rounds that have a cannelure with a heavy crimp.

Dadgum! Have the same puller and an rcbs and I've pulled everything from 204 to 300 win mag including 222 without ever having that problem!

Well, one thing's for sure, I won't break my old one again!

Probably what boke mine. I tend to crimp any cannelured bullet I load and pistol especially the hard cast Keith bullets.

I’ve broke a few. Cartridges with light weight bullets always take a little extra umph to knock out and that’s usually when I’d break it.

Finally bought a Hornady collet puller and it’s so much easier. Plus my wife doesn’t complain about the noise.

I have broken a bunch of those pullers. I switched to collet pullers.

Get a Grip N Pull and don't look back.

I don't see how you could break one but I guess anything is possible. I've been using one for years, super simple and barely leaves a mark on the bullet.

If you pull your own bullets, the GRIP-N-PULL is the #1 piece of reloading equipment you need. The patented GRIP-N-PULL makes collets and inertia pullers history! Tired of impact pullers? Gripnpull is cleaner, faster, quieter, and easier.

I’ve only broken one of the kinetic pullers but the handle on my Frankford Arsenal puller is almost as bad a yours.

I also have a pair of the grip n pull pullers and most recently a collet puller.

The collet puller is hands down the best for pulling bullets.

Not a puller yet but I snapped a hammer handle in half this weekend. Probably as much fun as you were having.
