Anyone ever bend or break a kinetic bullet puller?

I break them often, the smaller, lighter the bullet is, the more likely to break your bullet puller. Big heavy bullets take a lot less force to get them to come out of the case.
That thug lasted you a long time, guess you don’t pull light bullets often?
About three years ago, I was loading some small caliber round, then needed to pull bullets. I broke three bullet pullers in a weekend. I started off with my old RCBS, then went to Academy and bought a Franklin Armory puller, broke that one within a couple minutes. I went everywhere I could think of to try and get another RCBS puller, had to go back to Academy and get another Franklin Armory puller. I shattered the cap that screws down on the collet, did that within a couple of raps.
Those blue bullet pullers, are made of plastic that shatters much easier than an RCBS puller.Last edited by RifleBowPistol; 02-21-2023, 03:26 PM.

Frankfurt ! I have the large RCBS that they don’t make anymore - it’s a much larger unit than any other kinetic made! I have the lead ingot that I use to knock the fire out of it. No need to bend or disfigure tips , I put a 3/4” piece of ethyl foam in the boolit catching end and I’ve never messed up a projectile! I do have collet pullers but they do blemish the sides of the projectiles from where they grab them and there isn’t any working around that unless they produce a very high end Collet puller that I don’t know about!Last edited by Bucknaked; 02-21-2023, 03:35 PM.

I pulled some 223s with fmj bullets, but grabbed the bullet with pliers because I didn't want to upset/spill/change the powder charge.
I seated some Barnes bullets in those.
