Texas in state Elk Hunters???

Not free range, or low fence, but while on company business, I met a guy that is taking care of an 1,800 acre ranch about 5 miles from Kerrville that has around 250 head of elk. About 2 months ago, I did see a heard of approx 40 bulls running on that property across a canyon. My jaw about hit the ground. The foreman said that the aprrox 150 head of cows and calves usually stay isolated from the bulls. Just found my new best friend…..
He did say that their MONTHLY feed bill is around 20k!!!!

I had 3 different Elk coming into my small place @60 acres near Rocksprings ..until some Poachers cleaned out everything ..Glad they were caught ..
