Seems lots of guys have extensive experience with LOUSY Suppressors. My 5 yr old YHM 30 cal suppressor reduces my 7 mm Mag Sendero to ear safe noise levels and GREATLY reduces the recoil. FACT.

Went and did a little shooting this afternoon. Even a tiny can like the Turbo K on a SBR makes shooting more enjoyable. Just do it OP!

I agree with the above. It may not be movie quiet but the recoil reduction alone is worth the cost. My young boys will absolutely learn to shoot on a suppressed gun. Recoil reduction is a big deal for accuracy when your learning to shoot.

Do away with rubbers immediately! You can still feel it...a little...Sorry I couldn't help it.

Most suppressors will suppress between 25-35 decibels. This is very similar to ear muffs. You still hear the firearm, but there is no pain, plus the reduced recoil and zero muzzle flash. So as long as you understand that is will be comparable to wearing ear muffs and not silent like TV you should be good to go.

I will say, 300blk subsonic rounds are movie quiet. Only noise is the action cycling. And you are still throwing the equivalent of a .45 ACP round.

As others mentioned there is no real reason to not go right to a 30 cal suppressor. Additionally, I don’t see the point of a shorter K series suppressor. Yes they are lighter but most aren’t hearing safe. At that point, what’s the point?

If you are on a budget the YHM puts up outstanding s numbers up and weighs 16oz. You have to spend double to get a lighter comparable can except for the new harvest or evo, but the harvest or isn’t rated for heavy fire.

              Smaller, lighter, more handy.

I always use ear pro when shooting, even suppressed. No suppressor is actually hearing safe. The 140 DB threshold that people always quote is more in line with the pain threshold. Your ears won't be ringing, but it definitely is not hearing safe. Obviously things like .22 and certain subsonic rounds are even better and more in line with noise levels you actually encounter in day to day life.

I use suppressors so my ears aren't blown out if I have to take a shot without ear pro on. Just about any suppressor is exponentially less loud and less terrible for your ears than an unsuppressed gunshot. I just try to not make a habit out of doing so.

The resonator is down in the 125db range at the ear with .308. I don’t shoot a ton, but it’s awfully hearing safe.

Would agree with 300blk AR while it can be shot fine without ear protection, it is probably on the loud side to run tons of rounds through it.

125dB doesn’t seem accurate but still impressive results none the less.

The resonator is one of the quiestest on the market. I was just going off the silencer shop video.

Diligent defense is a other manufacturer, but not on SilencerShop website. Have a friend that shot one and said it was amazingly quiet. He owns about half a dozen suppressors also.

I think Suppressors are overrated. You want one that turns the "Boom" into "Plink" and they simply don't do that. When you shoot your gun, people within a mile or more radius will still hear you (depending on your location), so.... On top of that they mess with your gun's cycling and throw extra gas into your face.

They look cool though! you can save some money and the trouble and buy a fake one.
Have you ever shot one? Not talking a cheap mag lite made either, but an actual engineered, and designed supressor? They do make a difference!
