22-250 cut to 18", direct thread YHM R2 ended up right at 38" OAL and shoots lights-friggin-out.

I put a Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 with the amber dot and love that scope, too. I need to send in the scope because it doesn't track perfectly but happens to be dead nuts at 100y right now so hard to talk myself into pulling it off. And I wish I'd gone with a smaller objective, had to get taller rings than I want.

Not adjustable stock but I have a 6mm CM that I used a Tikka action and I put a 16.5 Mullerworks CF barrel on and set it in a Iota Kremlin stock. Changed out trigger spring and it's set a 1lb now. This has been my go to gun for last 2 years. Overall length minus suppressor is 35". Looks real similar to corps2010 rifle couple posts up. Low recoil gun. Manners has an adjustable stock that fits your criteria but I know you said you're on a budget but something to think about.

Not 16” but worth the extra tax stamp IMO
This is the AAC version in 300BLK with a Silencerco Omega 9k on a three lug HK style thread adapter so I can pop it on and off quickly between multiple platforms. I worked over the trigger and it’s a sweet shooter now. [ATTACH]1071548[/ATTACH]

Finding a collapsible stock for a CVA .243 would be a fun white tailed rifle especially if you get it threaded for a suppressor.

This has me thinking again that I would love a lever action shortened 30-30 threaded.
