I would bet that thing was built in the 1950s, or sporterized in the 50s. I would like to know what they used for the diamond inserts, cap on the forearm and pistol grip cap? That barrel looks like the original barrel.
Interesting rifle, the 6.5X55 Swede is a very nice caliber, another of the older calibers I really want to add to my collection at some point.
