That’s awesome. I’m going to send them a note with my two cents on how to handle the Marlin acquisition

Ruger has always been good to me. My Mom had a 380 lcp2 that fell out of her pocket while she was pushing up brush on the tractor. It ruined the gun once we found it. The only thing that was good was the slide and barrel. My dad called ruger and explained what happened. They said to send it in and they would fix it. A couple weeks after my dad sent it in they sent it back looking brand new with two clips. Didn’t charge us a dime I was sold after that. Good company to buy from in my opinion.

That's awesome. I've definitely sent inquiries to other gun makers with questions and never heard a thing back.

Lets us hope that the new folks steering Ruger love guns more than Bill Ruger did.
Ruger did well with investment cast receivers and have reputations for being durable guns.
I have 5 Rugers in my collection.
That is strange about Critter69's story about Ruger not wanting to touch his Red Label.

It just don’t get used anymore, has become a safe queen ( joker, I guess would be more in tune)
I would call them again a friend of mine ran over his Red Label accidentally/drunkenly with his tuck earlier this year broke the butt stock and scratched up the fore end pretty bad he called and got them to replace the wood and even went through the gun checking it out he had to pay for the wood but it wasn’t too bad if I remember right $300 but it looks and works good again

I think I will try again, but my “ luck” I will get that same lady.

this is good to hear, I’ve always Rivera mostly because my first “real” rifle was a tang safety 77 in .270

They are definitely listening to customers, the 9mm carbine that takes Glock mags is a prime example.

Reminded me of years ago, I bought a Ruger number 1, it came with rings. I wanted to put a 50mm scope on it. I needed taller rings and could not find Ruger rings. I called them and told them the issue, they asked my address and a few days later a package showed with tall rings. There was a return envelope and a note asking me to return the other rings. This didn’t cost me a dime. With that simple gesture they earned a life long customer.
