What poundage on Timney trigger?

Thanks for all the replies guys. I think I’m going to go with 2lbs. I have another 700 30-06 that needs a replacement trigger and if I like the 2lbs I will leave it in the 25-06. If I think I would like 1.5 lbs in the 25-06 I will move the 2lb trigger to the 30-06. Either way they are all going to be better than this junk xmark trigger.

I run my hunting rifles around 2 lbs. I run anything else around 1 lb. Take a look at the TriggerTech Primary if you’re looking at a Timney 510 or 517. The TT is a slightly cleaner trigger to me and most everyone else I know. Price is about the same as the 510/517.
