    Agree...from a value standpoint they are as good as you can get on accuracy out of the box. Years ago you would have to spend a bunch of money customizing a rifle to reach the consistency and accuracy level of these Tikka firearms today. Their actions are pretty **** smooth right off the shelf as well.

          Just modern technology IMO. Cold hammered forging and free floating barrels standard. Basically the same machinery of their parent company Sako. I think spending a little more time on polishing the bolts also means a smoother action. Stands to reason that less friction, grit and grind provides more consistent longer lasting accuracy.

            Yep. If you spend the money on the right equipment you don’t need a “craftsman” to build high quality stuff.

            A lot of folks aren’t real keen on buying $1M machining centers though.
