Question on the adjustable gas block... I recently put a supressor on my AR10 with an adjustable gas block. When I did so, I actually adjusted the gas block all the way closed and it was still cycling almost too much (felt like it was slamming the spring all the way back... after shooting a while and getting a little dirty, it stopped cycling completely... I assume I just need to open up the gas block a little?
My gun has the JP silent buffer... would adding weight to that help me get in a better adjustment range for the gas block, so that I'm not at the nearly fully closed position? I can swap the steel weights with tungsten weights.
Yea, i would open it up a little and dial it in. On a side note, If it is blowing back a lot, can always try the M84 Gas Buster charging handle from Precision Reflex. They're great and run them on most my ARs.
