I am changing calibers in a rifle I have and adding a barrel as well as a Boyds stock.
The barrel is the Rem Varmint contour, but the stock will be a bit smaller for that barrel contour.
How big a pain is it to channel it our for proper fit? The dimensions show .81 on barrel channel and barrel will be .83, so relatively small change.
