Who has a Marlin 39?

It has the heavy barrel.

It is awesome!! I have a pic of me shooting it when i was only 4 or 5. My grandpa was standing there and my dad was kneeling and i was using his shoulder as a shooting rest. Now, 40 years later, I am taking my kids out shooting squirrels with the same gun. We also take his Marlin Model 60. That gun is only about 35 years old. I never got to hunt with him but taking his guns out is like having him with us.

The first gun I bought was a Fox Model B Double Barrel in 12 ga. The second was a Marlin 39C. I still have both of them.

I've got a 39M that my parents gave me when I was 15. I was going through a bunch of paperwork after dad passed last year and found the original price tag on the gun... $101.33 Things have sure changed in 43 years.
