I bought a newer production 39 7-8 years ago. I think I might have kept it 2-3 weeks. I didn’t care for it at all, but the price was right.

I had one up until 3-4 months ago. Never liked it as much as my Winchester 62a's

Another 39a owner. Glad my pops talked me into buying it from a pawnshop in Conroe about 93. Think I paid 250 for it.

Father in law has a 39d I'd like to have

I had my Grandfather's 39. Octagon barrel, tang Marbles peep sight. It was my most favorite rifle until someone decided that they needed it more than I did and broke the window out of my truck and helped themselves to it.

I have a Golden Mountie Model 39. It will never leave the family as long as I’m alive trust me. I’ve shot my weight in ammo down the barrel and it’s a tack driver....literally. My son and I would shoot the tacks out of each-other’s targets at the range.

It is awesome!! I have a pic of me shooting it when i was only 4 or 5. My grandpa was standing there and my dad was kneeling and i was using his shoulder as a shooting rest. Now, 40 years later, I am taking my kids out shooting squirrels with the same gun. We also take his Marlin Model 60. That gun is only about 35 years old. I never got to hunt with him but taking his guns out is like having him with us.
