Imo it depends on what you want out of the rifle. For the most part, even the lower end guns will be more accurate than most shooters. If certain looks or features are what you are looking for (specific barrel/twist rate, specific action, custom fluting, etc) then by all means custom is the way to go.
Otherwise the higher end guns is they way I would go.
One day I will buy a Cooper rifle. They are beautiful guns with fantastic wood on most of them.

I say it depends. For the every day run of the mill high volume production guns, Savage may be the better rifle. But the higher end Remington’s still shoot. All of my R700 5R rifle’s are straight up shooters.
And I despise the accutrigger.

Was looking at the Christianson arms and what not and was curious.
Will look for the Cooper to take a peak
I own one and I have to say compared to a true custom hard to say which is better My wallet is not as slim when that much I can tell you . Ridge line is a very NICE rifle that is ready to go out of the box .
Nothing against the custom guys or vendors on here . I own both over the counter call it semi custom and true customs Like a GAP rifle Cooper
I myself not a bull barrel fan just do not like the weight , the carbon barrels make a huge difference in the rig for me anyways .
Good luck
