I have a 70's era Franchi AL48 semi shotgun. Takes 2 3/4" shells only and has a fixed modified choke. The gun is beauty and would like to keep it but the no changeable choke option makes it sit in the safe.
So before I sell it, how much barrel wall(thickness) is necessary to install choke threads? Or is this gun even worth it? I know you won't find a Italian semi auto .12ga for less than 800-$1000. Just seeing what y'all think.
Thanks Tony.
