I like to use pistol powder in everything, it’s just easier. 296 Winchester powder really meters good and I typically charge first then seat primers. I dip my primers in Kroil before tapping them in place. Learned that from an Army sniper in academy.

Simplicity IS key. Do you use compacted loads with the pistol powder? I think you wouldn't get the bang for your buck otherwise.

Yes fill case full and compress. I can’t understand that when I go to the range people always leave

I always drill out my primers pockets and seat a 22 shell innthere. It gets the powder lit real good. If I'm loading magnums then I use a 22 magnum.

I figured a Debbie downer would happen to show up. It's a joke. I have helped a ton of folks on here. It's a joke. If anyone can't tell that then maybe they don't need to be shooting and especially not reloading.

The proper term is swaging. Can be kinda tricky so be sure to use max loads.

we always called it "pinging" kinda rhymes with ringing
