Subs are quieter in every single can I have heard. It's simple science. Haha

The only thing I can figure is if you totally factor out the sonic boom, maybe then the % of reduction in sound is greater in a supersonic than a subsonic.

Of course subsonics are operating at a much lower pressure and if the suppressor is optimized to work at higher pressures it may not be it's quiet even though there's less powder
