I'm 99% sure it is. Only reason I'm not 100% is bc I'm not looking at it..

The sizer die will have an sb after the caliber if it is.

I ran into the same problem with my .308 and 5.56 not using a small base sizer. Switched and problem went away.

When one would get stuck I measured the base diameter and found it was at max chamber diameter.

Then again, I may be confused on whether it's a small base or not. I know it's a FL resizer, but I think I only paid $30-35 or something new for the set. So, I may not actually have the small base set

Unless you are using an OAL guage you are not getting the correct length when measuring.

          something like this.
          what brass are you using?

A full length sizer is not necessarily a small base sizer. The sizer die will have a SB after or before the caliber.

I thought the same thing when I started reloading. The good thing is you can buy the small base sizer individually.

I'll couple check this evening, but now that I'm thinking about it more I don't think it's actually a SB.

Not to worry. When you have a chance, call the manufacturers with the die in your hand, and they can confirm that it is a small or regular base die.

Every time I have had questions, every manufacturer has been stellar: Lee, RCBS, Redding, Hornady. They have fantastic tech lines.

Win. is a little thicker brass make sure you are trimming to minimum lengths. I have had issues with this in my GAP 10 using win. brass in fact i have to trim a little shorter than min length and chamfer both inside and outside of the neck

I'll start trimming to minimum too. I measure them and if they're in range I leave them alone. I'll trim all of them to the minimum and get the small base die and that should get me fixed up. Thanks y'all

chambering after next round or won't even chambering when you pull the charging handle?

it is an ar so you have to rule out gassing problems too before you jump straight to the ammo

After the next round out of a magazine. Shoots fine with any factory ammo. I have a new set of dies, so I'll load some up and see if that fixes the problem this weekend

Check overall length, you might need to shorten the round just a little bit. Be careful and do not compress the powder.
