Which bolt rifle do you shoot?

Savage 111 in .270. Fixin to get a makeover. First shot, dead on. All following shots string out to 11 o'clock. Blue worn off the barrel about 8 o'clock. Tried sanding/filing the plastic stock and it still removes the finish. Either Boyds or Bell & Carlson will replace the stock stock soon. For now I am using a homemade AR in 6.5 Grendel. May give up on bolts as this rifle is proving to be the most accurate rifle I've ever shot!

Forgive my ignorance but what does "string out to 11 o'clock" mean? An inch to the left?

I think it would mean a little high and left but I'm not to sure.
