As far as out of the box accuracy savage is hard to beat. That long range hunter has a accutrigger and an accustock that has aluminum bedding blocks in it. You wont be disappointed. I never liked savage growing up but wanted a long range rifle anda 6.5 creedmoor and I got to reading reviews on the savage model 12 Long range precision rifle and its hands down the most accurate rifle I have ever shot. I had to opportunity to get a savage 111 300WM and so far its submoa at 200yds. At cabelas they sell a savage 10T in a 308 and a 6.5 creedmoor for $599 hands down the best $600 value on the market. Good luck and show pics.
