    Thanks

Other than the plastic tip, nothing that I'm aware of. I've shot both out of a 7mm SAUM with the same results. DRT

i "believe" that to be correct.

And, maybe a difference in FB or BT ?

tip vs no tip. BT vs FB is based on weights. I like the TTSX at slower velocities and the no tip for higher.

One kills them dead and the other kills them deader, not sure which one does a better job cause everything I have shot with either one of them has been pretty well dead when I walked up to it.

I've shot both, they are pretty much equal. I currently have 168 gr tsx for my 308

I was debating trying these or the new rounds Hornady came out with this year.

Ive had great luck with both. Prefer the tsx becasue they dont have the plastic tip to get messed up during reloading carrying etc.

Like the ttsx though because you can tell right away what they are.

They both are **** good hunting bullets.

I prefer the TSX out of my 22-250. Hits like a hammer and you will get and exit with this bullet.

Been using Barnes X bullets since they came out in the late 80's early 90's. They will hold well with high velocities. The early ones had some problems with fouling badly so they eventually wound up having bands in them.

I have some 650 gr 50 cal TSX's that I want to try on some hogs one day. Going to lay a line of corn down and see how many are going to fall.

I haven't messed with the tipped version, but one thing I will say is that the regular TSX is probably the most consistent bullet I've ever loaded. Run them through the press, checked every single one with the calipers and every single one measured the same GOAL to within 0.001" or less. I can't say that about any other bullets that I've messed with. Measuring to the ogive is pretty consistent with most all bullets I've worked with, but measuring to the tip is certainly not.

I shoot 168 gr TSXs out of my 30-06 and 130 gr TTSXs out of my 270 and the accuracy is about the same. Not sure what the affect is on animals, if any.
