Mine just has a Leupold 3-9 on it. That is what it came with and I don't feel any need to put anything else on it.

I'm running an old Nikon Monarch Gold 2.5-10x with a German No. 4 reticle on mine. It's a good magnification range for the gun. Unless you're hunting dangerous game you can have a little more magnification on the bottom end. The .375H&H is effective to 300+ yards if you can shoot that far.

While not for everyone, on my 375 I run a Zeiss 3x12x56. It's a first focal plane scope and with it's #8 reticle it performs awesomely in low light. This is used for general big game hunting.
I have a couple of 416's that I use Swarovski 1.5x6x42's on. With the wide FOV and #4 reticle they work better for dangerous game.

Thanks for all the replies. I was thinking along the lines of a 2-7x33 up to a 3-9..... Aside from Sendit(I'm all about magnification myself too so I'm not knocking you at all) everyone is falling along the lines of my initial train of thought.

A 375 shouldn't have a high magnification...in fact, if I had one a true 1x variable like I got would be ideal for what I would want it for.

FTR I am a High magnification guy when it comes to deer rifles...I would almost be tempted to shoot a 375 open sights if they were good & save it for close range.

I use a leupold 1.5 x 5 on my Browning for African hunting. No need for large magnification.

Sorry I did not run my choice by you before scoping my 375 H&H general purpose hunting rifle.

2-12vx6 with an illuminated reticle would be about perfect. 12x and you can still shoot to 500 or so when needed and 2x for fast shots.

A 1-10 would be sweet but expensive. I'd spend some coin on glass for a dangerous game gun anyway lol

I have the Leupold VX.R 2-7 with the firedot reticle on my 45-70 and would not hesitate to put that scope on my 375 H&H. In fact, had mine not already had a 3-9 on it when I bought it, that is the scope I would have put on it. It has extended eye relief so you do not need to worry about getting scoped when shooting it.
