    41p question

I know there is plenty of 41f talk, so much that I can't comb thru it all on the gs. Bare with me...

Okay so 41f is nearly here and from my understanding when submitting any NFA item with a trust you need a 2x2 passport photo for everyone on the trust as well as fingerprints and a form 5320.23 (responsible persons questionnaire). The only think I don't clearly understand is how do I "get fingerprints"? Do we go to a LE agency and tell them we need finger prints? Do I do this at home somehow? Or at my dealer? Can anyone clarify this? Oh and can I "stock" up on finger prints of trustees? Like have 3 or 4 on hand so I can just pull a card out of the safe and submit? And what about efiles?

Sorry for all the co fusing questions. Anyone? Bueller?

Would think you tackle it like finger prints for CHL....

What are you going to do with them after you get them?

My understanding is electronic fingerprints are not accepted like with CHL. You have to go get the inked ones done.

              Lol good question!

When I set up our FFL, I took those cards to the police dept and got fingerprinted, and went to Walgreens to get photos.

I cant remember if LCPD changed for the fingerprinting

I've been told it's a DIY finger print card?!?! If that's the case what if the prints are bad on "accident"?!

I think the goal was to complicate it enough that people stop purchasing them. I'm sure the democrats are tied to this somehow.
                    Thanks Hillary!!!

those are the fingerprint cards that the aft accepts for individual form 4s.

Cards are free and only takes a couple of days to get.

I assume they will be the same ones for trustees.

                        Free or not it's annoying!

Why can't they just do a electronic database for each trust holder? Once it's complete with pictures, finger prints, hair follicles, sperm samples and whatever else they want anyone who is a repeat applicant should be automatically approved. Should take just a matter of days!

Because they want to make it as annoying as possible.

Plus now you'll have to tell people in your trust you're buying a new toy....like your wife......not saying anyone here would have issue with that......but....

I bet after the mad rush of the past 6 months suppressor sales drop way off for quite some time.

I'm still unclear on the fingerprints. Are they required with EACH submission or are they good for 2 years? Also the photos have to be taken within the past 12 months but those can be gotten at Walgreens.

Mike, I was told by a class III dealer that fingerprints and pictures have to be submitted for everyone on the trust EACH time a class III item is bought.

                              Flat out BS!!
