You hit it right on the head. I've called just about all the big scope mfr. today and this one has my vote as of right now.

I have forgot all about the Huskmaw. About to check them out.

Is what I'd buy if I had $1,000-$1500 to drop on a scope. You can order it on bearbasin for a smooth $1299
You can get the 5-20x50 for under $1500. A guy here on TBH sells them in Katy.

I have one and love it.

I'm looking to upgrade on my 240 WBY and am thinking of a 3-18x50 VX6 with CDS.

The VX6 would be a great scope as well. We have one on a 300 Win mag and for a hunting rifle it's nice to just range and dial yardage with the cds turret.

I went with the Sightron S3 on my 338 Lapua because I wanted FFP and it offers 23 mils of elevation travel at a great price.

Swarovski Z3/5/6 and Zeiss HD are great HUNTING scopes but they have very limited adjustment.

If you're thinking of the Nightforce shop a used NXS and you can find them for 1500 and get a lot more scope

                          Wil,
Here's the best review I have ever seen on scopes in this category... It's worth the read before you drop that kind of change, especially if you are after long range in the field shooting... The technical capabilities of these scopes vary widely and not necessarily based on price...

This post shows what tactical scopes the top 100 precision rifle shooters in the country were using this year. Looking for a scope? These are the best.

Long-range gun but shoot 100-300 yards? Any of your long-range scopes will easily handle short distances. The only disadvantage is with faster moving targets at close ranges. So Id' narrow down how you plan on really using the gun. If its hunting I'd get a 3-9x44. But if you really wanna dial out the Creedmore's capabilities you'll need something that has a crystal clear abilities at 10x power (1000 yard shot).

I have leupolds, a zeiss hendsoldt, and vortex pst.

To me the Vortex pst is the best for the money
