Carries comfortably and my whole hand fits in the grip.

      Around $349.99 price point.

I shot A LOT of guns at Lonestar Gun Range in Lockhart before I decided on that one. I shot all the ones RascalArms mentioned and then some. Spent about $300 at the range renting and shooting all types. I always came back to the Kahr CM9 and CW9.
Fair assessment for sure. I have several 9mm carry guns...both single stack and double stack. One of my favorites is the Kahr CM9 with some accessories.

I love my glock 43. Get the taran tactical base pads and it's even better

I agree with 35remington, if you have the budget the p938 is hard to beat. I didn't for my first concealed carry so I went with the S&W Shield 9mm. It's a sweet shooting gun too! Got mine from PSA for $349 on a daily deal

Forgot about PSA. I checked Bud's and I think all there shields are 40 cal at the moment on there LEO buyback deals. She didn't like my XDM in 40 cause of the snap when shooting it. One reason looking for a 9mm.

I don't like the Kahr, simply because the one I shot had the worse trigger pull. It felt like it was an hour before it went bang.

With that said to reset the "click" as it set back took forever as well. I'm use to a bit of travel then hearing/feeling the reset click and it's ready to fire. Not that much though. Best of luck

Yeah PSA comes through sometimes. . I got mine back in November I believe when they had several available in the kryptek finish (which wasn't too important in my decision) but the price was 40-60 dollars less than anywhere else I looked for the shield 9. They did offer the .40 in December for $329 and I was a bit butt hurt but I wanted the 9 anyhow. Good luck man, let me know if you have any questions and let us know what you go with. My brother just bought two p238s in .380 for his wife and daughter. He said they are really sweet shooters and super accurate right outta the box. Might consider that too..

I love my taurus 709 slim. I tried or at least held most of them mentioned, and the taurus fit my hand and was much more comfortable than all of them and cheaper too. So far, mine has been flawless. Only issue is finding holsters for it.

Kahr CM9. Got one a while back and fell in love. It actually shoots softer than the XDS 9 and Shield I had. The trigger on the Kahrs are a long double action and very smooth. So smooth that you can't really stage it. Just pull through in one smooth motion. It isn't a Glock trigger and isn't trying to be. It is like a worked over revolver double action trigger. I love them and I'm looking for a K9, MK9 or CW9. Haven't made up my mind yet. Probably gonna go all Kahr so I have the same trigger on all my pistols. Go to Lonestar Gun Range. They have a bunch of rental guns. Good luck to ya.

PSA blows the P938s out once or twice a year for $499. I transferred 2 over the Christmas holidays. Might have been a black friday deal this year...

My vote goes to the shield. My wife loves hers.
