I like my Kahr PM9 but beware that Kahrs have a reputation (mine included) of requiring a lengthy break in process before they become dependable.

I agree this is a common topic....even on Kahr forums. That being said, my son and I both bought CM9s awhile back and neither had a single hiccup during the break in period.
Wish I could say that for all my pistols.

This......but I would also recommend the LCP 380 (a smaller "get off me gun"). Round edges that won't get snagged on the draw (all the others listed are just a smaller full sized frame with sharp edges).

This what I carry off-duty. All I want is the threat to "get off me" and a LCP .380 belly gun does that with minimal inconvenience.

The best gun is the one you will actively carry. The bigger frame guns get left in the night stand.

I'm not interested in engaging an "active shooter", just personal family/friends protection.

Can I shoot you with my .380???? I thought not!

doesn't the manual say that you need to put around 500rds into it to break it in? I have a friend that bought the Kahr as his backup weapon and said it took several hundred rounds to get it reliable, but since then, not a problem

Glock 43 with a plus one pearce mag extender. Love it. Comfortable to carry and never had it jam once.

Good looking rig. I'm not a fan of the LCP or the LC9 but I like that grip and the pinky extension. Is that an aftermarket grip? Never seen it before.

I can see the words "Hogue Grips."

I am pretty sure it is 200 rounds. My p.m.9 has worked flawlessly. Plus it is accurate and easy as heck to conceal. Love this gun

Had a PM40 that went back 3x before it was good. The third time they replaced everything except the frame. Admittedly, it was a great little gun once it ran right.
