I don't get why the anti open carry guys feel a need to mock those that support gun rights, no matter what they are. Then it's always the clichè " what is it mines bigger then yours?" Bologna, or "trying to be a tough guy". Get a grip! It's not about any of that.



Personally the more exposure people get the better in my opinion. This hunting forum is prime example. We are just allowing people to do what's been allowed in far more liberal gun hating states for years! Yes it's different then what you're used to, but I bet most on this board haven't even seen someone open carrying. I know I haven't, nor anyone that I've talked to. There's no blood in the streets and no guns being grabbed by criminals here or any other places it's been legal for years.

I never said I was agains open carry. I'm all for open carry, just against those that feel the need to do it because of penis envy or something like that. I might open carry if I could see a reason for it. January 1 was not a good enough reason for me to strap up.

I don't speak for everyone, in fact when it come to the matters or firearms and carry since I have common freakin sense I speak for none of the boycott club.

30.06 or 30.07 makes no difference to me. If I need something they have, the choice is mine do I need it bad enough to leave my pistol in the truck? If yes, I go in. If no, I move on.

Freedom isn't just yours, it's everyone's. They aren't restricting your 2nd amendment, they're protecting their own rights. It's THEIR property. If you want to force your views one someone else, be **** well ready to have theirs forced on you when the pendulum swings the other way.

Me, I believe if you don't like guns, don't buy one. If you do, buy them until you're broke.

If you wanna carry, carry where you **** well please unless you're on someone else's property and then abide by their rules or move on but don't throw a hissy fit because they won't bend their views to suit you.

This is my thought. I'm all for open or concealed carry and the 2A. But I'm not going to get too worked up about some business posting a 30.07 sign or a 30.06 sign. I may not choose to enter and do business, especially if they have a 30.06 up (not just a 30.07), but I'm not gonna be picketing out front or anything.

Why do grown men fill they need to flash their gun around? Is it's a mine is bigger than yours thing? I just don't get it.

It's often much more comfortable to carry openly, especially here in Texas, and especially in the warmer months. Has nothing to do with flashing anything around. I'll still carry my gun concealed most of the time, but I like the option of wearing openly.
